Carlos' Anatomy Page

Welcome to the infamous Carlos' anatomy page. What Carlos Villavicencio (MD '98) compiled here is a collection of most terms the 1st year medical student will need to know for a typical Gross Anatomy course. It is arranged by sections taken from Northwestern Medical School's anatomy course. The structures listed are the words that appear in bold in Grant's Dissector, a commonly used textbook.

Many thanks to Karen Kreeb Myhre (MD '98) for providing the atlas cross references!

You will also find a list of Neuroanatomy structures; this list comes from the NUMS 1st year neuroanatomy course (thanks to Dr. Berry for this list of terms!)
