>> FSoM AMWA

The American Medical Women's Association student chapter supports the advancement of women in medicine and strives to improve women's health education. We develop leadership within the medical student community and provide networking, advocacy, education, faculty mentoring, and support for political action.

Our activities also include service projects like Take Your Daughter to Work Day and awareness events like "Vagina Monologues" and Take Back the Night. This year our goals include registering students to vote, creating a girl scout "Health" badge program, and expanding our faculty mentoring program.

Northwestern's AMWA participates at school, city-wide, regional, and national levels. We welcome the participation of ALL medical students in our activities.
