>> Devon Clinic

The Devon Clinic is a free clinic located in Rogers Park at Devon and California. It is open every Sunday from 10 AM to 1 PM on a first come first serve basis. Each week, the clinic is staffed by a physician from the Illinois Indian Medical Assocation and by four medical students from Northwestern University, UIC, and Rush Medical School. The medical students take the patients' vital signs, history, perform a focused physical exam, and then present the patient to the physician and follow through to discharge. The Devon Clinic Volunteer Organization is currently working on patient education through the production and translation of pamphlets on hypertension, diabetes,and women's health issues in Hindi and Russian.
